Fonterra has reopened its milk powder manufacturing plant in Malaysia following a NZ$7m (US$4.8m) investment to boost manufacturing efficiencies and ensure it continues to meet health and safety, and food safety and quality standards.

Maori milk company Miraka has signed an MOU to distribute its Whai Ora product in Malaysia.
