The Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA) has recognized DSM’s Halal compliance, implementation and program of label control by naming DSM its Company of the Year.

The number of Halal consumers is increasing and has now reached 1.6 billion, making Halal food, beverage and dietary supplement products one of the fastest growing consumer segments in the world.

“We are honored to be receiving this prestigious award, which reflects our commitment to supporting the growing requirements of the international food industry with global Halal programs and ingredients that are suitable for Halal products,” ​said Stephan Heck, Senior Director Quality Management, who will receive the award at a banquet dinner on behalf of DSM today, during IFANCA’s 17th International Halal Food Conference.

“Our goal is to be the preferred provider of nutritional solutions to Halal consumers worldwide.”
