Emerging food trends from Japan – photo gallery
Yuzu citrus fruit and green tea-infused noodles were two of the latest flavour trends coming out of Japan, on show at Harro Foods’ Japan Food Show at the weekend, featured in this photo gallery.
Running from 13–15 July at the Hyper Japan Festival at London Olympia, the Japan Food Show brought together Japanese food and drink manufacturers to show the latest innovation and product developments.
Blossoming trends highlighted at the show and set to hit UK shores included fruit flavoured green tea soft drinks, gluten-free panko ‘breadcrumbs’ and dried seaweed snacks.

Meanwhile, members of the farmer cooperative East of Scotland Growers (ESG) have invested £2m to launch broccoli snack brand Growers Garden.
