CAA INTERNATIONAL COCOA CONFERENCE 2024, SINGAPORE

The 3rd edition of the CAA INTERNATIONAL COCOA CONFERENCE (CAAICC) is gearing up to welcome International delegates from the Cocoa and Chocolate industry once again. The 2nd edition of the conference, organized by the Cocoa Association of Asia (CAA) in 2022, brought together over 500 key players in the Cocoa & Chocolate sector post-pandemic across the 2-day event. This year's event, set for 12-13 September 2024 at the Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore, promises to be the largest one yet.

In a ground-breaking initiative, CAA will kick off with a pre-conference workshop uniting an international group of cocoa farmers from various regions under one roof. The workshop aims to facilitate knowledge sharing among farmers and community leaders on Sustainable Farming Practices, Innovative technologies, Climate Change Adaptation, Market Access, and Trade. Participants from countries like Côte d’Ivoire, Bolivia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Ecuador, PNG, Uganda, and Cameroon are already part of the initiative. Insights from this workshop will be shared during the main Conference sessions, giving a voice to the farmers.

The 2-day conference will delve into discussions about the future of cocoa and its potential in Asia. The agenda will address industry challenges with topics like "(1A) NO FARMER, NO COCOA, (1B) THRIVING FARMERS – Sustainability & Profitability, (2) What In the Cocoa World Is Going On?!, (3) A World With No Cocoa?!, and (4) Taming ESG Wicked Risks in Cocoa." Participants can also engage in masterclasses at the Cocoa Village exhibition, covering themes such as Navigating the Value of Exchange Cocoa Stocks, EUDR Supply Chain Readiness, Beans to Bar – Profitable Future of Sustainable Cacao, and Managing Cocoa Risk In A High Price Environment.

The CAA International Cocoa Conference shines a spotlight on industry sustainability in Asia, providing global perspectives and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to support the sustainable growth of the Cocoa sector.
