Last week we revealed that the NutraIngredients’ teams worldwide were to host the first ever co-ordinated series of webinars looking at immunity, and now we can reveal the stellar line-up for the first APAC event which will focus on clinical research.

Broadcast on May 26 at 1pm Singapore-time, the webinar will discuss the key components of quality clinical research and shine the spotlight on companies and academics that are investing in gold-standard immunity studies.

The event will feature keynote presentations from:

  • Ramasamy Venkatesh, Managing Director and CEO, Gencor Pacific

They will also be joined for a panel discussion by:

The event will be hosted by Gary Scattergood, Editor-in-Chief of NutraIngredients-Asia and Regional Head: APAC for publisher William Reed, Global Brands.

The webinars in the 12-strong series will look at immunity in relation to four key themes: The Microbiome, Active Nutrition, Clinical Research and Botanicals.

There will be a regional version of each – APAC, EMEA and the Americas - with each webinar running for 90 minutes.

The full line-up for the APAC versions is:

Clinical Research and Immunity in APAC – May 26

Microbiome and Immunity in APAC – June 3

Botanicals and Immunity in APAC – June 16

Active Nutrition and Immunity in APAC – June 24

Gary said: “Immunity has been the hottest topic for supplement firms and suppliers in APAC this year, with heightened interest from consumers leading to sales of finished products soaring.

“Our immunity series of webinars will assess the opportunities for future studies and NPD across Asia Pacific spanning the microbiome, botanicals, active nutrition and clinical research, in order to meet this demand in an effective and responsible manner.”
