GNT signs China distributor for anticipated Asian growth in colour

Food colouring major GNT has appointed AAFUD Group as its distributor for the Chinese market as as it looks to ramp up its presence in Asia-Pacific.

As a well-established manufacturer specialised in natural colours, food flavours and functional ingredients, AAFUD has been supplying food, health products and dietary supplements since 1996, when it was founded in in southern China. 

Family-owned GNT, meanwhile, has manufactured colouring concentrates from fruits, vegetables and plants through gentle physical methods like pressing, crushing and filtering since 1978. Its concentrates are sold under the Exberry brand in more than 65 markets for a variety of foods, including confectionery, bakery, dairy and beverages.

The AAFUD Group is the perfect partner for GNT since it can provide a solid access to the main manufacturers”, said Victor Foo, managing director of GNT Singapore. 

In view of the constantly rising demand for natural ingredients among Chinese consumers, the development of the local market is one of GNT’s primary targets.

As part of the new cooperation, AAFUD has gathered a team of food colouring specialists to support clients’ application needs. Under this system, the team will work closely with GNT’s international experts.
