The company has been active in Asia-Pacific over the last couple of years, with the Bangalore subsidiary coming after the opening of a process development and engineering centre in Shanghai.
The Thailand office will help meet the growing demand for high-efficiency processes in the food and feed industries, serving its home market, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia and the Philippines.
“We have equipped this new office with local capabilities, together with local sourcing and project management, for on-site process development,” said Damien Brichant, Novasep’s Asia-Pacific manager.
Nadège Laborde, president of the company’s industrial biotech business unit, added that the new team will offer a range of products, from single purification units to complete ingredient production plants.
“Novasep has a strong and long-term presence in Asia. Our establishment in Thailand is a new step in our strategy to better serve our clients,” Laborde said.
